Mountain Biking in Iran

So here we go with our first non-climbing expedition. The idea came from a discussion with a professional cyclist and photographer. The idea is to do a exploratory and pioneering 12 day long expedition covering a variety of landscapes to the north of Iran. You have to be a confident off road cyclist with a good amount of  cycle touring experience under your belt. The team will be supported by vehicles when possible. The terrain varies from rugged dry deserts to the south of Tehran to the lush green forests of Mazandaran province. You will also have a chance to see Iran's two highest peaks from close.
